Swanilda

Lauren Cote is fourth year in the College majoring in math and biology. She trained at the Academy of Ballet Internationale, Indianapolis, and had the opportunity to be 'Clara' in The Nutcracker, before coming to UofC to learn about proofs and fruit fly genetics. She has danced with UBallet since her second year and credits them with convincing her to get back up on her toes. In her time with UBallet, she has had the chance to prance around looking ridiculous as the ' Wicked Stepmother' in Cinderella and hop around the stage as the 'White Rabbit' in Alice in Wonderland. When not in the studio or in the lab, she is the Financial Director for UBallet and enjoys knitting. Lauren is fantastically excited about Coppelia and is thrilled to have the chance to dance the role of a girl acting as a doll acting as a girl.
