Executive Director: Martha Fahlgren
Oversees other positions. Ensures that University Ballet maintains RSO status, corresponds with the administrative staff and advisors, attends room lotteries, runs Executive Committee meetings, and organizes scheduling. Replies to questions about University Ballet.
Artistic Directors: Ai Sahara and Candice Schwartzenburg
Plan performances. Coordinate and assign choreography, choreographers, and rehearsal directors. Ensure that all dancers have an appropriate role and that auditions are run appropriately. Ensure that shows are cohesive and of excellent quality. Responds to artistic questions about University Ballet.
Assistant Director: Amanda Block
Serves as social chair. Assists other members of Executive Committee. Takes minutes at Executive Committee meetings.
Financial Director: Sarah Styke (assistant: Marianne Seneczko)
Tracks University Ballet's ORCSA account and manages budgets. Oversees reimbursements and costume orders when necessary. Applies for funding.
Head of Teaching: Siqi Li
Schedules classes, teachers, and master classes. Runs teacher meetings and teacher workshops as necessary. Ensures sure classes are taught at appropriate levels. Considers and auditions new teachers.
Marketing Chair: Matthew Walsh
Responsible for designing marketing campaigns, including poster concepts, guerrilla and viral marketing, and reaching larger Chicagoland audiences.
Fundraising Chair: Marianne Seneczko (assistant: Kirsten Olson)
Coordinates fundraising, including garment sales and benefits. Collects dues from dancers.
Print Media Chair: Janey Lee
Designs posters, postcards, tickets, and programs.
Digital Media Chair: Davi da Silva
Updates and maintains the University Ballet website, Facebook account, and Twitter account.
Productions Manager: Elena Hadjimichael and Diana Chen
Manages logistical aspects of performances. Coordinates with stage manager and all technical assistants. Manages the dance surface for performances.
Costume Mistress: Alison Newman
Coordinates costumes and manages costume closet.
